What’s Hour Of Code?
A one-hour activity. Students of all ages can choose from a variety of self-guided tutorials, for kindergarten and up. Tutorials work on any modern browser, tablet, smartphone, or even with no computer at all.
What experience is needed?
None. The courses designed for Hour Of Code are easy to follow, intuitive, and suitable for learners of all ages with or without coding experiences. Try them and you will love them!
Who can attend Hour Of Code event?
Anyone who has access to Internet. Actually there are already more than 100 million learners in 180 countries who have attended Hour Of Code in the past years.
What device can I use to try Hour Of Code? Do I need to install anything?
You can enjoy Hour Of Code on ANY devices including PC, tablet(Apple or Android), or even mobile phones. There is no need to install any software. The only thing you need is a modern browser, either Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer an so on.
However, if you want to go beyond the hour to learn more about coding and computer science, you may need to have some software installed on your device. Follow the course summary before you start.
When does Hour Of Code start and end for 2015?
The week of 7th. Dec. 2015 ~ 13th. Dec. 2015, but you can try the lessons at any time you like. No registration is required.
